Apart from producing significant publications to accompany his touring exhibitions, Gavin Wilson is also the author of the monograph John Firth-Smith: A Voyage That Never Ends published by Craftsman House in 2000. He had recently prepared the monograph Harbourlights: the art & times of Peter Kingston for Thames & Hudson published in December 2004.
River on the Brink: inside the Murray-Darling Basin
Led by Barkindji artists and supported by leading contemporary artists disgusted with the destruction of the once great Darling/Barka River, the exhibition is a rigorous protest in response to a national emergency.
